Spend a beautiful spring day at Piney Woods Farm discovering the timeless journey from sheep to finished fiber. Meet the farm’s sheep, learn how their wool becomes something useful and beautiful, and settle into the peaceful, unhurried rhythm of traditional fiber arts.
Through demonstrations and hands-on projects, you’ll explore how raw fleece is washed, sorted, carded, spun, naturally dyed, and felted. No previous fiber-art experience is neededโjust bring your curiosity and a desire to slow down, learn, and create.
During your day at the farm, you’ll:
